TELEHEALTH APPOINTMENTS - WILL CONTINUE TO BE AVAILABLE TO THOSE WHO PREFER
This service is accessible to anyone who lives in the province of Nova Scotia! Tele-rehab has been working very effectively in regions where access to Physiotherapy is difficult. Telehealth supports and empowers patients to stay active, and reduce pain and immobility.

I trained in the UK and have been in clinical practice since 2007.
I have a professional passion and focus on the treatment of Pelvic Floor disorders enabling women to manage conditions such as bladder pain syndromes, bladder and/or bowel incontinence, bladder urgency/frequency, pelvic organ prolapse and pain with intercourse. I also help patients with pelvic and low back pain, and joint pain. And any patients with pregnancy related changes.
If not at the clinic you may see me sailing out of Lunenburg harbour and exploring the south shore waters. Or in the winter months, I'm hiding at home, drinking coffee and reading by the woodstove.

Pelvic Health Physiotherapy
Pelvic Health Physiotherapy is the Assessment and Treatment of conditions associated with the Pelvic Region.
Conditions include -
Bladder - Leakage / Urgency / Frequency / Problems emptying / Recurrent Urinary tract infections
Bowel - Leakage / Urgency / Constipation / Problems emptying / Uncontrolled gas
Prolapse - Internal structures/organs. The feeling of something 'coming down' vaginally or rectally. This can lead to discomfort and skin irritation
Painful Intercourse - Intercourse should not be painful. In the absence of an infection the pelvic floor muscles might be 'too tight' or working ineffectively
Your Pelvic girdle, spinal and core stability and your Pelvic Floor muscle function are very important in supporting and improving symptoms in this area.
These are very common symptoms, lots of people are suffering, but they are NOT 'normal'. In most cases these symptoms can be helped with Pelvic Health Physiotherapy
Physio Pilates is the provision of Pilates exercise prescribed by a fully trained Physiotherapist.
Physiotherapy Pilates Assessment - The initial 1:1 assessment of a clients existing condition is undertaken and specific goals are set to address individual needs. A guided exercise programme is developed to address muscle balance, strengthening and flexibility.
1:1 Pilates - Supported, guided, progressive Pilates exercises in a 1:1 private setting.
Pilates Classes - My apologies, Pilates classes are not currently available.
Pilates Classes are currently unavailable
