Treatments

Pelvic Health Physiotherapy

Pelvic Health Physiotherapy is the Assessment and Treatment of conditions associated with the Pelvic Region.

Conditions include -

  • Bladder - Leakage / Urgency / Frequency / Problems emptying / Recurrent Urinary tract infections

  • Bowel - Leakage / Urgency / Constipation / Problems emptying / Uncontrolled gas

  • Prolapse - Internal structures/organs. The feeling of something 'coming down' vaginally or rectally. This can lead to discomfort and skin irritation

  • Painful Intercourse - Intercourse should not be painful. In the absence of an infection the pelvic floor muscles might be 'too tight' or working ineffectively

Your Pelvic girdle, spinal and core stability and your Pelvic Floor muscle function are very important in supporting and improving symptoms in this area.

These are very common symptoms, lots of people are suffering, but they are NOT 'normal'. In most cases these symptoms can be helped with Pelvic Health Physiotherapy
